You might’ve said that the call for a 2020 market panic was lucky. That anyone can get it right at least once.

We’d agree with you, but Phil and Akhil’s forecasts go back to the late 1990’s. Here’s some examples:

In 2001, Phil was preparing his subscribers for the end of cycle top in 2007. We know this now as the Global Financial Crisis.
Then in 2007 he was preparing them for the stock market bottom in March 2009.
In 2011 and 2012 when headlines were calling for another crash Phil and Akhil were saying to prepare to re-enter the property market. Major gains have since been made for investors that did buy back in at that time.
If you’re a gold investor wouldn’t you have liked to ask Akhil questions around his August 2020 forecast:

‘Gold is approaching a peak, a set-up for a double top. Expect gold to rally to 2,000 but not much beyond that. Gold may not come done very significantly very quickly’. Which is exactly what happened.

Now let’s go back to January 2020 when markets around the world were making their decade tops.

When President Trump said that the US economy had never been in better shape.

Where Ray Dalio at Davos said “cash is trash” and Bob Prince, of Bridgewater the world’s biggest hedge fund said the boom-bust economic cycle was over.

And then by March 23, less than 2 months later, markets around the world crumbled by up to 40% in fear of everyone contracting the coronavirus.

The fear was palpable, panic ensued through just about every household around the world.

The government response was to pump billions into the economy to keep it afloat resulting in the shortest recession in US history, with property prices skyrocketing.

Thankfully, our BBI members were calm and in control.
